California Smog Inspection?

California Smog Inspection?
Hey everyone.
I just moved to CA from Pennsylvania. I have a non-Cali spec F2. Does anyone know whether the bike will pass the smog test here? From reading on the DMV's site it seems that bikes are automatically exempt. If this is right, why create the Cali-spec F2's?
Any CA residents here to shed some light? Thanks.

Smog checks are not required for motorcycles here in CA. I bought a salvaged cruiser which was abandoned in a tow yard by the original owner who brought it in from Arizona. He was able to register it here. To get it titled and registered again, I was asked to have the VIN checked by a DMV inspector and to have the brakes and lights inspected by a shop. It didn't even have to be a certified brakes and light inspection facility which are required for cars. It didn't require an inspection by the CHP which might be required if you are registering the bike here for the first time. I was also asked of the vehicle acquisition number from the salvage yard.
The Cal-specs for motorcycles must be for control of motorcycles sold within CA. The number of bikes from out-of-State must be very small in comparison, anyway.
