Default brakes

can u rig rr brakes on an f2? are there any newer systems that are simply bolt on i.e. from newer bikes?

No newer brakes will simply bolt on. Even F3 brakes require you to use newer rotors wheel, and calipers. The reasoning is that F2s used a floating caliper setup like on an automobile and the newer F3s and beyond all use fixed calipers and floating rotors. (and I believe larger ones as well)

<edit> even the F3 brakes would require the newer F3 forks IIRC. In addition the F2 speedo is at the front wheel while all newer bikes do the speedo in the case. if you go newer brakes you lose speedo or you need to make some type of custom spacer for the newer rim and forks so that you can keep the speedo.
