Make sure the radiator cap is off when You do this.

Yes, I know so there can be some air flushing the coolant down towards the bleeders, (which I'll have to look up in the manual as to where they are)...and thus flush coolant...flushing the air trapped in front of it and before the bleeders....
Like bleeding brakes a bit...

The bleeder is just above the thermostat housing, You will have to take the left fairing off. When I refer to two bleeders I am also talking bout disconnecting the small hose that runs from the thermostat housing to the block (its not really needed) but opening the bleeder by the housing is.

OK, take the fairing off on theshifter side. You will then see the casing that holds the thermostat (it is right in front of the shifter). above the thermostathousing is a1/4 inch hose that runs too the engine block under the carbs. Loosenthe hose by the thermostat with the radiator cap removed.after coolent starts to flowfreely You can close back up. Hope that helps.

I talked to the mechanic whos house I dropped my bike off at to have him check out what I thought was over heating. He ran his CBR1000 I believe it is side by side with my 600 and said the temp gauge needle was at the same position on each bike when the fan kicked on. With all the comments here it sounds like my bike is now normal, I'm just used to it running cooler for whatever reason it did that for the first 3.5 years I had it. Bring on that young blond!
