Bike wont start after it is warmed up
Hey everybody,
I went and checked out a 1993 cbr f2 to possibly buy it and I had a few question to some problems that were occurring. When I went to the guys house he told us that the bike hasnt been run in a little while because he has been out of town. Also, the bike is originally from Seattle. I am in Florida. First thing is first, it took a little while to get it started. Everytime we would get it started as soon as you put it in 1st it would stall out. So we decided to choke it and let it run for a few min. Once we did that all was well and I took the bike for a ride. The bike ran fine and went through all the gears and everything. I came back to the guys place and then let my more experienced friend take it for a spin also. When he got back he shut the bike down and tried starting it up to see if it would. Well it didnt. When we pressed the start button nothing would happen. We then tightened the battery terminals and tried it again. The starter was turning and everything but the bike wasnt starting. At this point the bike was well enought warmed up. I was wondering if anyone here could possibly tell me what may have been wrong, or some things that could cause problems like that. Also, I think I remember my friend mentioning that the carbs seemed a little gummy. Thanks
