bike is not getting any power?
ok, so i have a 91 F2 race bike. i was on the track and the bike stopped running, and would only start once it cooled down. i found out it was the regulator/rectifier after disconnecting the harness and finding out it was fried. so i ended up doing the gsxr r/r swap. its a larger r/r with cooling fins etc... which alot of ppl use to replace the oem f2 r/r.. so anyways i got that installed and my battery was dead so i decided to hook it up to the battery charger... after charging it i am not getting any power what so ever. the lights wont turn on, the tach wont move, nothing. Do you guys have any idea what i should look over? im getting a bit frustrated. thanks in advance

RE: bike is not getting any power?
i checked all fuses, and none of them appeared to be severed. i also tried disconnecting the terminals and re-connecting them and had no luck there either. any other ideas? i have a trackday coming up in a couple days that has been payed for already and NEED to get this bike running. any help would be appreciated. thank you

RE: bike is not getting any power?
Try a new battery. Make sure you check the 30 amp main fuse, too. It's under the seat in the compartment next to the battery.
It's actually under a rubber boot to the left of the connections. You will also notice a spot for a spare 30 amp under that same compartment.

RE: bike is not getting any power?
main fuse was blown. used the replacement that was supplied. i feel like an idiot right about now, but im glad the bike is fixed. thanks everyone for your help!
p.s. ALWAYS start with little things, before going through extensive tests... saves alot of wasted time haha

This is really good advice and makes perfect mechanical sense, just like hitting your bikes reboot button! [sm=joke.gif]
