dudes.....
i know is ghetto but here is how i worked on my bike.
to lift i got a 2x4 piece of wood and a car jack and lifted from under the headers.
OR
if you strong enough and have a budy. lift from the front tire with your arms. like a real men? lol
and to support i used a rim with a fat tire and put it under neath. worked great. look.
the bike aint heavy to cause any damage to the headers. but if ur that picky.
put the 2x4 under the engine. and a cinder block on each side. and wala.

Hey i only wanna get the front tire off and i dont understand how to use the car jack on the headers. so im just looking for something to get that tire off. i dont plan on having the bike to much longer i just need to get the valve stem fixed. can you explain the car jack method in more detail, how do i balance the bike with the car jack under the headers? Hershey do u have a pic of the jack that you recommend?
Balancing is the issue, that is why I use ratchet straps. Strap the bike from the frame to something sturdy on each side.
If you don't plan on keeping the bike, then I wouldn't even bother with a stand at all... hell, a shop will probably charge you less to fix it rather than you buying a stand and doing it yourself.

i jaked the header with a car jack, and put jack stands under the forks, with the wheel off i raised it more and put my brothers flat dirtbike jack under the forks and put the jackstands under swing arm while the wheel was serviced, very stable(dirtbike jack is mechanical) puting a new tire on today and will be hanging it up by the tripple this time, my buddy has a neat set up in his barn
