Default bike dies

ok here are some problems with my bike that i encountered,
the clutch fine adjustment cable screw is stripped and the cluster is rethreaded, when i adjust the friction point and ride my friciton point moves all over the place so im thinking thats whats causing all of the problems below:
-bike shifts in to neutral on its own
-bike dies at stop lights and doesnt start up, i put her in first press run and it just cranks, put her in neutral same thing happens (i hope this is not an electrical problem)
-clutch slips

it should just be the the screw and cluster hole right?
i have a 1994 f2

thanks

I think the F2s have to be in neutral to start, even if you have the clutch lever pulled. You might want to get a new clutch cable and adjusting hardware for the left-side perch. At least that's an inexpensive place to start.

F2's do NOT have to be in neutral to start. The transmission can be in gear, but clutch lever must be pulled in. Sounds like you need a new cable and adjusting hardware, as mentioned above.

Maybe somthing in the kickstand sensor or somthing. Ive noticed that If I forgeet to put tehe kickstand up when I put her in gear she dies. Maybe a sensor is going bad in your kickstand???? Just an option...
