Exclamation A big write up for cleaning carbs?

I was wondering if anyone could write an extensive carb cleaning with photos if possible.
I get the just of it but don't know how to clean them. Do you spray the carb cleaner in and that's it? Do you wipe the carb cleaner around the carbs.

If anyone could do an actual write up with details I am sure more than enough people would appreciate it. The one in the how to section is somewhat detailed but so many different people saying this shouldn't be done, and that should.

Thanks in advance.

I used the one in the how-to section when I cleaned the carbs in my brother's 92 f2. I made sure I included the parts about the jets, and it worked great for me?

It's in the works, could possibly have it stickied next week... I've been pretty busy at home, just opened a backyard repair shop.

Default that would be great.

I know it says most of the stuff in there, its just all over the place. I don't know where to jump to to go from a to b. Thanks.

I'll be working on my own write-up with very detailed pictures and instructions... If you can wait a week it will guide you straight through the process.

just curious bout the jets.? When removing the jets how many turns out for the normal setting on the f2. I have read that putting a notch on the jet and screw will make it easy to remember how many turns. Do you basically count how many turns to get it off and just turn it back on that many times? Is this the only real concern when playing with the jets?

For the jets that are inside the float bowl, they are seated completely... The only jet that requires a specific amount of turns "OUT from lightly seated" is the mixture screw or "pilot jet" which is outside of the float bowl.

Check the manual for # of turns out, cant remember at this moment.
