So I got my 94 F2 used and it had a yoshimura exhaust on it. I just bought a stock exhaust but it does not reach the header, and it does not fit around the header. And is the muffler gasket made out of lead or something. The gasket on the one i got is a metalic color but as pliable as soap. Is it most likely that the previous owner cut the exhaust header down? and is there a way I can buy something to fix this?

 

You sure it didn't have a full yoshi system?

 

What color is your header? if its black, chances are its stock, if its chrome or polished i would say its probably aftermarket.

 

Its black and rusted, I dont want to buy a new header to get the exhaust on

 

i have a F2 header sitting in the basement, i had to go to a 900RR header when i did the swap. i would sell it for50.00 shipped.??? PM me if interested..

 

I have a complete stock exhaust setup I'd trade if you aren't to far away.
