So, honda gave me the wrong waterpump. (bad packaging, they put the wrong pump in the right box) my bike has been sitting for a week, a little more maybe. I had it running 2 days ago, no problem. Just went to start it today and it goes click click click click. But wont start...is this the Regulator? Im not sure if thats it, from what ive read they dont seem to just die all of a sudden? Maybe my battery is real low? The lights come on and stuff still so its not dead. Ugh im frustrated! Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Could it be a bad ground? I just went and checked all the fuses and they all seemed fine, all the lights and turns work and everything. It sounds like a buzzzz sound when i push in the starter. Any ideas at all? I would REALLY appreciate it.

 

The lights on the dash dim when i push the starter too. Please helpi dont know what happend

 

sounds like to me your battery is weak, or your battery connections are loose, if not try putting it on a charger over night and see if that works

 

I would charge up the battery first and go from there...make sure it is not just the battery, or even just better just the charge.

 

the battery connections are all good, i dont have a charger though. I guess ill need to get one. Will a car charger work or do i need a battery tender or whatever its called?

 

car chargers generaly have to many amps for mc batterys.. I would sug a 2 amp or less charger that will automaticly shut off when charged... I got one for about 40 bucks from a local checker auto parts.. good luck

 

I threw a charger on it, and sure enough it started up. But there was a loud pop when it started, likea backfire or something. Normal?

Yeah, it should be good. You can also hook it up to a car battery for a jump start just do not start the car. Or you can alway have a buddy push you down the street and start it that way. i would stick with 2nd gear if you are doing that.
