Another new guy.
Ladies and Gents,
I have been lurking over this forum for the past couple of weeks. I finally joined. I just purchased a nice 92 F2. Its in great condition and a blast to ride. I have been away from the bike scene for about 12 years and didnt want to jump on a current 600. My last bike was an 89 FZR600.
I have downloaded the Honda manuals and just purchased a Clymer manual. Im going to look into the manual CCT upgrade and I know Im going to have to replace the chain soon. This forum has been a big help already in getting me familiar with the F2.
Thanks, and I hope to be around here for a bit.
well then let me be the first to welcome you i have a 98 F3 if you look in my profile you can view pix to see what my wip looks like well nice to meet you be safe riding and help out in here as much as you can people are always looking for answers
Let me also say welcome to the F2 family. I'm a relative noob and have had lots of help from these guys. I've been doing lots of maintenance on my bike, lots of reading, and drawing from my mechanic history to hopefully help some out as I have been getting help. IMO, there is nothing more satisfying than tearing into the project, getting it back together and then having it run or ride better than when you started. Good luck.

Has everything you need right there.

NICE! I actually almost bought the very same F2 back in '95.A buddy was transferring jobs and needed to sell the F2...I had it for about two weeks then gave it back to him 'cause I dodn't have the funds.
