Default After a bit of F2 mod advice.

Had a little crash yesterday on my 1991 F2.

Need some advice for building it back up.

Forks are bent. Scouring Ebay, i cant find a decent set of forks in my price range. Are there any other forks that i can put straight in?

Also, the radiator has a slight leak, is there any other model of radiator that will fit in?

Im going to have to ''Streetfighter'' it for want of a better word, purely because plastics are going to be FAR too expensive to replace.

Hopefully someone here can answer these questions.

Thankyou

- Sam

f2 forks are the only "direct" fit.

f3 forks will work with your 41mm triples (and are an upgrade) but you need to swap over your F2 lowers, or use the whole f3 wheel and brakes. (you'll lose the speedometer if you go the F3 wheel route)

radiator is going to be a function of what you can find, capacity, and what kind of fab skills you have. Check with the streetfighter guys/gals and they can help you on that stuff.

For a radiator, try looking at a 94ish vf750. They are cheap, and look to be about right. Adrenalnjunky was right, just need to take measurements to make sure it physically fits, and that in/outs are in right position. Other then that, you just want to ensure you have sufficient capacity and flow.

I put a '98 rad on mine, just had to use F3 hoses, can't remember if I had to do much else, like brackets or fan mounting.IIRC the top mount I used a zip tie 'cause I'm lazy nad it worked.
I also had 98 forks with the '91 wheel with no issues whatsoever, had to use a 98 fender.
