Default Advice>???

How much is a regulator? where to buy? where is the regulator located? and is it easy to take the old one out and put the one new one back in? My bike just died a few days ago and so found out that my battery was fully drained out so i bought a new one! Everythings fine and tdoay I started to notice my lights would dim out! When i rev it the lights brighten! so i'm guessing its my regulator! If someone could help me... please!! This is really pissing me off![:@]

The regulator is very easy to swap. About thirty seconds. If you are facing the bike the regulator is found on the left side inside of the seat. To get a replacement regulator, check ebay

Its pretty easy I think but I would put in a new wiring harness, the Honda tech said most people don't think to do that and it can cause problems later.

You don't need to put in a harness at all that tech' is pulling your crank..
Simple test is to get a multimeter and set it to mA (milliamps). Turn the Ignition off and disconect the NEG lead from the battery.

connect the Neg probe to the battery, and the RED Positive probe to the Neg lead and take the reading...
If its 1.2ma (milliamps) or above your in trouble and you'll have to find out where the "SHORT" is. Anything below from 0 ~ 1.0mA acceptable,
