About to buy another CBR 600 F2.
About to scoop up this bad boy tomorrow for $1000. Super stoked.
It all started because I made a WTB ad on Craigslist:
WTB: 1991-1993 Honda CBR 600 - $2000 (Covington)

Hey, I currently ride a 1993 Honda CBR 600 F2 and am looking for another for my GF to ride with me. I have about 2K to spend on it. (I got mine for $1,500)
Contact me ASAP if you've got a bike that fits my criteria..
> Running
> Road Ready
> Minor scrapes to fairings.. (No major wrecks)
> Safe to ride as is

Hey there if you're still looking-
I have a 1991 CBR 600 F2 I've been thinking of selling and when I saw your post I figured it was a sign. I recently bought a house and now live super close to work and in Redmond there's too much traffic so I never ride it. I got it from a friend a few years ago who bought it a couple years before and I've put maybe 500 miles on it at most. I put like 20 miles on it last year...
it's got 32k miles on it. I've only owned it for under 1000 of those. Last year I replaced the clutch cable, throttle cable, speedo cable, new bar ends, grips, rear wheel bearings were replaced at a shop. I put in amsoil synthetic oil.
Ignition tumblers are wearing out, you have to wiggle the key but it's the 21 year old original so no real surprise there. The rear tire seems to lose a couple of pounds of air every day or so. The bike has been down at very low speed on the right side but the damage isn't very noticeable. The original color scheme had a big pink vinyl section that i removed and then I stuck some aftermarket decals on it (the rear CBR sticker too) because it looked really bland to me once I got the pink removed - they should all come off with a hair dryer.
Tires are in good condition, i'd say 75% tread at least. It runs well but needs to warm up really good, it's pretty cold blooded. It does clack a little when first started up - I was planning on checking & adjusting the valves if needed and synching the carbs and changing the plugs this winter. I'm asking $1000 firm on it which I believe is a great deal... I haven't posted it yet but figured it'd sell really fast once I do. Since I saw your ad I wanted to give you first crack at it since you're specifically looking for one of these.

Nice score, for sure!! 32K is higher than I personally would usually want to go for, because, even though these things are bullet-proof if maintained and cared for properly, you don't know if some of those miles were spent in neglect - that said, though, the outward condition of the bike probably indicates that it HAS been well cared for, so, if I was in your shoes, I'd definitely try to grab it!
If you do get it...I smell a track-bike project coming on!!
