Default 94F2 Broken Fairing Question

Hey guys, here is my bike. I am having a problem with the side fairings on both sides. Mainly, on the side showing, if you look close-the fairing is broken and is connected with carbon-fiber tape. Also, on both sides, not all-but most of the plugs connecting the fairing to the body are broken.

My question is if there is any way to fix this and not have to buy all new fairings and paint them ($$$). If anyone has some guidance, it would really help a new rider. I just bought this bike and really want to get it on the road looking nice. Thanks.

That looks like a really sweet bike! I like the blue! I've tried using epoxy with no success...I've seen a thread that adrenalinjunky wrote up in the how to write up about repairing cracked fairings. Maybe you could improvise on that?

Do a "broken tab" search, I think it was estate that did a pictoral on the subject.
He used a dowel, epoxy, and fibreglass-cloth to re-create the pins.

I think it's called Plastibond and it's available at automotive paint suppliers. We have a place here called Industrial Finishes that carries it on sale for $10. It's like super glue with a powder agent. You clean the crack the best you can, then place the glue in the crack. You sprinkle the powder down and it immediately bonds. Then, sprinkle the powder around the whole area, fairly lightly, then moisten it with the glue. Holds like steel!

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to check out my problem and for offering suggestions.
It was a beautiful day today in my town and the bikes were out everywhere. Poor, sad little me- my bike would not start! I bought it a month ago and have had it sitting in my house, taking it out and starting it up periodically. Now it won't start. I'm bummed. It turns over, but won't catch and start. It even backfired once. What should I do?
