My bike has been settin in a friends garage for about 1 1/2 months now, put it away for the winter. i went up there the other day to take a cruise, and the battery was dead. went and got new batteery, put it in, put it back together, now it won't start. Sounds like it wanted to, but it kept backfiring. don't know to much about it, just bought it about 2 1/2 months ago. anyone have any suggestions?

 

check the plugs, probably got flooded and fouled them up, that usually the cause when it back fires on ya. let it sit a bit, or take the plugs out and clean them off. Or even buy a new set.

yea, thats what i figured the problem was. about how much would it cost for new plugs and wires? any certain brands i should go with? is it an easy job to do? i noticed you will need an extention to get to them. think i should do it myself or pay to get it done? thanks for the help.
