Change electrical, fab new tail mounts, fab body mounts, trim and cut panels. That is just for cosmetics. Chassis and engine mods will take machine work and more fab. Define "complete conversion".

Sorry not a full conversion like the engine and all just a body conversion like fairings, headlights and tail lights. I want to make my f2 look like a 03-04 f5 with the two headlights.

how to convert your f2 in 2 simple steps...

Step 1, sell f2
Step 2, Buy rr

pros: Saves hella time, actually have a bike thats fast instead of just looking fast. (Basically its the same concept of putting a body kit, neons, and a big wing on the back of a dodge neon)
Cons: costs money

+1 on that. I was halfway into doing a 600RR swap on my F2. The absolute cheapest was going to be $680 with out the new gauges. The F2 is a much bigger bike than the 600RR, so the stock fairing stay and gauges will all have to go. You will need headlights, tail lights, fairing kit, seat, rear seat cover, new gauges, and a 600rr front fairing stay. $680 is the absolute cheapest with cheap ABS plastics from china for $330 and non OEM tail lights and head lights from eBay. You'll also have to move the handle bars underneath the triple tree to make this work. Makes the bike very very uncomfortable! I ditched the project midway and I still have some 600RR parts if I look for them.

There are people who have successfully done the swap on here, but it's a big chunk of change and risk. Once you cut your rear subframe up, putting back to stock will take hours of welding and hammering back to make them fit right. Don't make the mistake I did! Either go with it 100%, or don't do it at all!

Not to burst your bubble but I've been there, done that... and I think it's better keeping your F2 original, or buying a 600RR I plan on doing that soon once I sell my Honda Rebel 450 lolol. The F2 is a keeper
