Default 1993 CBR 600f2 Quater Mile times??

Just curious what others are getting out of the F2's?

I went last week and the best I could mustur was 12.21@111.4mph.

It ran a 7.85@90mph in the 1'8th.

My best 60ft of the night was a 1.94

Seems like it really falls off on top after the 1/8th.

My bike is pretty much stock except for a D&D slip on and stage 2 jet kit.

Do these numbers look right? I was kind of hopeing for high elevens..

It could defiantly be possible. Probably wouldn't take anything more than a good day with a good rider...

It was about 80 degrees and VERY humid the day I went. I would imagine with a 50 or 60 degree day and no humidity. The bike would be in the 11's easy. Especially a finely tuned machine. Mine is so so and still ran a 12.20 in less than stellar conditions..

Either way. Doesn't matter any more. I sold the bike and bought a 2001 Yamaha R1. I plan on destroying those numbers very soon.

I know its the F2 forum, but I ran a 7.2x in the 8th on my 98 f3. All stock. Stock height and wheelbase. Actually my F2 feels faster (as if they are "fast"). F2 has has a TBR full sys, can chopped 8" and 1 down in the front. She'll eaasily ****** the front up in 1st on hard accel :-D I plan to do 'baseline' dragstrip and dyno runs to see what the F2 will do, cuz she feels faster than my F3...

If youve been following the 'nitrous threads' in the F2 forum and the modified forum, then you would know that my F2 is just my stunt bike. I am thinkin of making her into a'stripper' if I can swing a new stunnah :-D

Built 900rr motor swap and 100+ of nitrous anyone??

Meh can't go by age. My Mustang is 40 years old and yet it still makes the same power as the day it came out with. As long as everything was taken care of it should still make decent power.

true but even a zero miles f2 is still a 15 year old 600 20hp down and a porker compared to modern hardware. what i really mean is the same thing ive come to realize running mine that is your not gonna be wining any titles you can spend thousands trying to keep up but it aint gonna happen. as far as 900 motors and nitros go its all a waste of time as far as iam concerned with all the money you put in it you could have bought a 929 or a super cool hurricane 1000.
