Default 16000 mile service

Has anyone heard of a 16,000 mile service for our bikes? I took my bike to the stealership two weeks ago and just got it back. The mechanic, mysteriously, left before I could talk to him. But I wanted to know what the service entailed. AND THEY TAXED ME!!!!! Needless to say, I will learn everything I need to know about my bike!!!
No more stealership!!!

Everything they did should be listed on your work order.

If they checked all that, then I don't feel that bad. It was $400. But that was the first time somebody, besides myself, really checked the bike.
Thx reydelaplaya

My bike was there for two weeks. The first week they didn't work on it I just dropped it off on a Saturday. No biggie. It's cold as hell in NJ. I rode Saturday for about 30 minutes (missing some of my son's 1st b-day party). Bad Dad!!!! But, I had just got it back. And it's running tough right now!!!!!!!
