Default -1 +5 520 sprockets....no wheelies?

So I got a 520 conversion with stock front and +5 in the rear...it was allot faster...and actually raised the top speed......but the front would not come up from the throttle at all...so i got a -1 in the front...it actually feels slower now......whats the deal?

i work at the honda dealer in my town and was talking to the head mechanic about it.....he said that the rear is too tall now..with the stock front and +5 in the rear its all midrange and highend power...the -1 is all low end torque.....so the two together are two extremes...they fight each other...so i need to do +2 or maybe +3 in the rear and it should be good
