Paddock stand

hi, can anyone recommend a decent paddock stand

thanks

I've had my Venom stand for about 4 years and it is "decent", i.e. it does the job and I don't regret getting it. That being said, something like a Pitbull is MUCH sturdier and, imho, worth the extra $$$ if you decide to go that route...

I'm not a fan of the Pitbull. @Doc Samson Have you used one before? I think it's harder to use because it raises the bike higher than it needs to. It takes greater effort to lift the bike up. It's certainly sturdy enough with large diameter tubes, but I'm not a fan.

A better product IMO.

I have not, just held one and realized how much sturdier it is than the one I have.

Your height arrow made me laugh! I hate trying to "draw" on a pic, makes me feel like I've got "the palsy" or something... :D

I have used some of the 'cheaper' paddock stands in the past and never felt overly confident in them.
I swapped to a ABBA superbike stand, whilst certainly not cheap is very very good and with the added bonus of being able to weigh the back end of the bike down to remove the front wheel / forks if required.

Oh, to have that much room in my garage!

certainly doesn't feel that way when the bike is squeezed in:icon_cry:
Also just added a CB 500 to the stable as my winter bike, pretty much a major strip and re-build as had been sat for the best part of 13 years (was the old mans), that will have to remain under the car port.
