Front suspension
I have 2011 cbr600f. I'm only 5'1", weigh 54kg, front suspension seems very 'bouncy' . What's the best/simplest way to set it up? Should I harden up to max & then just work backwards?
I've just come off a vfr800 & the ride is completely different

Hi vfraingeal,
Please take a moment and pop over to the new member area to introduce yourself to the forum.
Where are you from, how long have you been on two wheels, what bikes do you have etc.
We also love pictures.
As to your bouncy suspension, not sure what adjustment you have on that version of the CBR but yes you should be able to wind the pre-load in to stiffen it up, however the bike is now 10 years or so old and I would bet that the oil in the forks has never been changed! That would be my first task and then with new oil I would look at the suspension set up.
I recent changed my oil and you would not believe how much of a difference it made.
This is a great video from one of the greats on suspension set up
