do you have a fuel pump? had you noticed a surging feeling before? my fuel pump recently died on me and this was what I noticed as a symptom. if you have a pump, convert to gravity feed, and see how that goes for you.

Check and make sure that nothing is clogged. (Fuel filter, air filter, exhaust, fuel lines, etc...)

well i traced it back to a clogged petcock. originally didnt think it was a fuel problem because when i drained the float bowls to see if they had fuel, there was some residual fuel left in them. However, its fix and.......I JUST PUT MY FIRST 60 MILES ON MY FIRST HURRICANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
