I rode by bike for about 20 min and when I get home I put it in neutral to adjust the idle screw, everytime I touched the idle screw (barely touching it) the bike would stop running. So I would start it again and the same thing would happen, But I then realized it was not the idle screw it was the wire coming from the crankcase on the left side, so when I went to adjust the idle my hand would bump this wire and the bike would stop running. I am wondering what that wire is, after the third time of restarting it would not start again. I am thinking that wire has something to do with the temp or something?

I think that would be the wire that goes from the stator to the wiring harness under the seat. Sounds like you have a short or bad ground.
