well for one its a 41 tooth. stock is 44 or 45 i forget at the moment so it wouldnt accelerate for crap. and i dont know if the holes are different or not but i bought a vortex off a kid who bought it for his f2 thinking it would fit but it didnt. so im gonna say theres a difference
