Still here, I have had my Cane since 1999. There are times now I would like to sell it and get a larger cruiser so I can take the kids around easier. My wife rides a Honda cruiser so I usually just take hers. But I still love the old girl, especially with all the stuff I've done to her over the years.

Well, if they hadn't taken the word Hurricane off the 1990 model I could say I was. With the newer RR plastic on it now I guess it's called a HuRRicane around these parts.

I was thinking about getting a vanity license plate for it-

HURRRR

I have 3...almost 4 Hurricanes. Not sure how to tabulate that for your survey. I also have a bunch of other bikes that I ride.

The "original" CBR's are overlooked gems.

Yep, she's still going strong... other things took priority for a few years, but been back on the old girl more this year (2014) ... touring and blasting around backroads. Love the sound of the std exhaust 5k ~ 8k rpm up and down the gears. Lots of thanks to Drakito and others for their advice and help. CBR forum rocks!

Not yet a CBR rider - currently a (soon to be) renovator.

I've a 1988 that's seen better days but is still sound under all the grime. Been collecting parts for about a year now as I've stripped bits off and been able to find out what's usable, what's fixable and what's duff.

The plan is to have the machine humming along before Autumn turns back to Winter again. Aaaand then I'll have to start planning the two CB400/4's and the CB550 I have stripped and stashed in cupboards and sheds and boxes... :-)
