Hi bro could you put a pic on of the whole bike just so we can confirm what bike you've got. On my bike the fuel pump is situated further back from the position of the rear shock on your pic and I don't have that bracket. Could be a relocated bracket though by a previous owner.

The fuel pump on mine is mounted in that spot I believe. There is a rubber holder that mounts on to those 'pegs' and the fuel pump then sits inside the rubber mounting.

The whole pump & hoses assembly looks basically the same as this F3 unit:

ok that helped I'm thinking i need a fuel pump the reason is in the picture I'm posting with this there is a wire that was cut that runs across the bike to the other side and plugs into a connector so all this is coming together iv circled the 2 spots I'm talking about sorry if it is hard to see the lines that i used are thin i couldn't figure out how to thicken the lines up.
so let me know im pretty sure its for a fuel pump.

Yes that looks like the wiring for the fuel pump, and the pump is clearly missing in those pics. You will probably have to either hard-wire the replacement in or make your own connector if the fuel pump end was cut off from the harness.

well i found one on E bay for $158 and it had the wires with the connector on the end in the pic but i would like to try to save some money. The only thing is that it would be coming from Hong Kong so i would imagine it would take a couple weeks to a month to get it. and also the person that had it before me seemed to have it hooked up gravity fed would that work in the mean time until i get my fuel pump?

from my short lived experience on gravity feeding, it will work so long as you dont take on any major hills. I would do what was suggested earlier and try and pickup a fuel pump from a 98 600. Mine crapped out on me and I had my bike taken to the shop (needed a few other things worked on) and the mechanic had one laying around from a bike that someone left with him for freebie parts. I love having it on there, as opposed to just gravity fed. For my peace of mine I just feel better knowing I have something feeding gas into my engine, especially since I live in Maryland now opposed to Georgia.
