Vid: air box damper cyclinder? foam replacement
hey guys
I'm not sure what you call these things in the airbox but I need replacement foam for them and also the one in the carb overflow filter box.
Let me know if you've any ideas on where I could get cheap replacements or what I could use instead to do the same job.
Thanks, and remember the first hurricane is probably the best bike in the world

Where to those tubes go inside the airbox? I don't have them in my bike either, but they might have been removed before I bought it along with the rest of the emissions equipment.
Mine does run perfectly fine without them though as well as the overflow which was also missing. I put a universal mini K&N type breather filter on the line for the overflow and it works fine as well.

That is interesting.. it looks like maybe the UK bikes have a different airbox setup than the ones out here because I've never even seen those mentioned in the service manuals. Does it still take the regular flat air filter that covers all 4 carb intakes too? I don't see why you couldn't do without them as long as there is an air filter in place.
