Using non-stock tire sizes (primarily: aspect ratio aka profile)

...I'm an idiot... I just read the tyre size post and got the information I need from it. So, just a quick recap from it:

150 is the largest in the rear we can go, 140 is advised, 130 is stock. 160 performs poorly. 110 is the only option for the rear.

Different profiles (tire width / Porifle / rim size) are fine, although ideally matched up so as not to change turning characteristics.

Bias is best, radial doesn't deliver consistent results.

thats what i got from it. the other thing i learned is sport touring tires are best because you have more than enough grip for the lean angle that these old cbr's allow and you will get more life out of the sport touring vs sport.

Okay, that sport tourign vs sport makes sense and all... except sport touring tires only come in RADIAL to my understanding and we're not supposed to run radial tires on this bike supposedly. Is this true?

I am looking for this info as well. It's always a debate on here, we just need one single good answer from a reputable source.
