does anyone know the biggest tire i can put on my 1990 cbr 600? i had a 98 f3 and i put a 190 on it and it didnt rub. this little 150 is gonna make me bite it in a corner.

If you bite it because you have a 150 on it (two sizes too large by the way) it wont be because the tire is too small. It'll be because it's too large. I can drag footpegs and headers on my dads old 1978 KZ1000 Z1R sporting a whopping 120 on the rear. Dont believe you need a larger tire. First off, the rim on your bike isnt designed for a radial tire there for shouldnt even be a consideration for you. They are not designed to work that way. 2nd, the rim is soooo small it'll pull the tire in so bad (if it even fit) it simply wont work right.

Just use the stock size (130) or even a 140 as they are more common. If you crash on that, it's because YOU screwed up, not the bike.
