tires
I have been looking for tires for a few days now and let me tell you finding the right ones isnt east on this bike haha. i have the 89 and am looking for a good tire that that too expensive to replace the stock front and the larger 140 on the rear. can anyone point me to a website or brand or anything at all? thanks a ton guys as always
I have tried the BT45's good tyres and great feed back in the wet also
(I live in the UK and ride in all weather so this is important to me!)
I found the wear rate a bit high though rears lasted about 3500 miles but flatened off after about 3000 and started to lose feedback at that point.front lasted about 7000 but was well shot by then and well past its best.
I have avon roadriders fitted now also good tyres and available at the same price as bridgestones here in uk.I have only had them on about 500 miles at present and so far grip and feedback have been excellent wet and dry however no idea of wear rates yet.

I have Battleaxes front and rear and like them. I have put about 5000Kms(3000 miles) and they still look good. A have a mix of highway and city riding.
My last tires (cant remember the brand) had about 15,000 km on them. They were way too hard. That was all highway miles
