THINKING OF PARTING OUT MY 87 CANE 600
ALRIGHT GUYS IM FED UP WITH MY BIKE IT RUNS GREAT FOR A WEEK AND DOESNT RUN FOR ANOTHER WEEK AND RUNS FOR A WEEK ETC. I THINK ITS A BAD GROUND OR SOMETHING STUPID BUT IM SICK OF IT SO THINKIN OF PARTING IT OUT. JUST WONDERING WHAT PEOPLE NEED AND WHAT YOUR WILLING TO PAY FOR THE PARTS TO MAKE UP MY MIND IF IM GONNA FIX IT OR NOT OR IF YOUR AROUND NH ILL SELL IT OUTRIGHT OR TRADE FOR A SNOWMOBILE

by the way the farings are iffy mostly missing mounting tabs and the sides are cracked but i just ziptied them on the bike lol the gas tank is red and black and has a small dent from the other day when it fell off my bike onto my basement floor wtf!!! not a big dent but noticable.

fix it! i know exactly how you feel, ive been through some bad times with my bike. pushed it more times than i can remember and all in texas 100+ weather with full gear. now, she is coming together and been running strong for quite some time, shes not perfect, but getting there. what are the symptoms of your bike? maybe the reg/rec, that is a common problem that is real intermittent and one I had myself, very unpredictable.

i really want to keep it but i leterally have no money to fix it honestly. it has a new cdi so thats not the prob. it just runs great and wont start for a while and then it will run great again i though maybe its a bad wire somewhere like a loose ground or something. also what are those little spark things inside of one of the cases? i wonder if that could be it i dont think the rectifier would do this would it>?

well i would send it to somebody i would really love to because i love this bike but i just dont have the money . if you know anyone around nh ill sell it cheap like for 700 bucks ill lose a lil money but i dont care i got a sled and want to do some crazy **** to it this year lol ill get another bike next year hopefully. i was thinking of a title loan to get some money and send it to the dealer to figure it out

get a manual and test the reg/rec. its up to you, just hate to see you give up so early and gut a perfectly good bike. idk if this manual tells you how to test the r/r but it should.
