Is there an online manual for our bikes?
I haven't been able to find one for bikes this old, but I've done it and would be happy to talk you through it if that's worth anything. It's pretty easy.

Nope. Not for the F1. If you find a manual claiming to be an F1, beware, there is one going around that is definitely not the F1. I have debated buying one and scanning it in. I also saw a package for sale on ebay with all the manuals, IDK if the F1 will be in there or just the other ones, but I thought about buying that one too, just so its available online.
Yeah, its the 90 carbs on the 87 'cane. I dont have a syncher. Think id be able to drop them in and be able to drive it to a mechanics house? (he lives like 2 miles away)
Yes, you'll be fine. If they haven't been taken out of their bracket, they're probably pretty close anyway. If not, you're not going to 'hurt' anything by riding it for a few miles. If it's off, some cylinders will just run hotter than others.
Before you put those carbs in there, make sure all 3 springs inbetween the tabs/sync screws are in there. They're important and easy to lose. If you're missing some, pull 'em off your old carbs.

Just take a look at the carb assembly all together. In between each carb, where each butterfly shaft meets up on the side of the next one, there's a little tab on each carb that meets up with the one next to it. There's a phiillips head screw and a little spring. Those are also the phillips screws you will have to turn to sync your carbs when they're on the bike, and the airbox is off. By turning the screw, you adjust the height of each butterfly in relation to the one next to it. So there's three, one in between each carb 1-2, 2-3, 3-4.
Sorry dude, it's way harder to explain than it is. You'll see it. When you have it on the bike and only the metal part of the airbox on, look down right in the front of the airbox and you'll see the 3 screws looking right up at you.
When you sync, get 1-2 even on the sync-tool, and 3-4. Then, use the screw in the middle to get the two sides even. then fine tune them all again.
