I just picked up my cane from "storage" and I fired it up and paper(firecracker) comes flying out. Rev it up some more and rocks fly out. I take off my exhaust to get the rest and of course I get curious. I fire it up again and damn it sounds great, loud but great. Anybody else running straight pipes?

 

I have a Yoshi drag pipe on mine, and yeah, it is pretty much striaght piped, and everyone who has heard my bike thinks it sounds great!

Yeah they do sound good but they can be annoying day after day on the freeway.

I've got the D&D show and go full system and it pretty much will make your ears bleed. It opened the top end up a ton! Its fun, Harley Tards will about break their necks trying to figure out wtf that sound is coming from and since I'm still softer than the Harleys, no cops have got on me. BUT, Bill is right, everyday and it does start to grate on the nerves especially on loooonnng drives. Short around towners and at the drag strip, no complaints at all but anything over a half an hour and my ears start to ring.

 

Long Dives ... I comute 145 miles a day! I would cut my ears off!
