starter solenoid

what size amp fuse should be in the starter solenoid. mine has a 30 amp in it and the solenoid is now fried. all it does is click when i try and start the bike.? thanks

30. it's the only one in the system. all other fuses are 10 or 15.

did the fuse blow when you try to start? or is fuse okay and bike just won't start at all?

the fuse is fine, it just stopped starting so i took some test wires and a starter trigger and bypassed the solenoid and the bike fired right up so i know the solenoid is shot. all the solenoids that look the same on ebay all have 20 amp fuses

nope, manual says 30. there are no 20 amp fuses used on this bike. everything else uses a 10 and only one set of items uses a 15.
