Stabilizer bar? Is that the same as a steering damper?

yes they are the same... so I guess no ones lived through the speed wobble to warn the next guy huh..? Its not quite as stable as Id like it to be.. I can feel the bike wanting to go haywire at about 130mph and Its really not a very good feeling.. pretty freakin scary.. but other than that I have battlx b45 tires on it and it says the H-rating is at 130mph does that mean its unstable after those speeds or what...?sorry so many questions Im just trying to avoid sever injury or even death.. any help is appreciated..

Check your steering head bearings and front tire inflation. I've had my hurricane since new in 87 and never had an issue with wobbles, weaving, or tankslappers. My Hurricane feels like it is on rails...very stable.

I have to echo thrasher572 comments about the steering head bearings and front tire inflation. I would also check your swingarm bearings.

I have never gone 130 on my Hurricane (impressed!) but it has never given me a headshake.

You may be able to get a more universal one. Check some of the old posts to see if anyone has found one that works.

I used to get head shake with an old front tire. Got a new tire and no more headshake.
Mine is very stable at high speed.

I may have found one or just a typo. I will be contacting these folks and see what is up.
