Lightbulb Slip On Muffler Question ---->

Hello everyone i was wondering if you put just a slip on muffler do you have to do any jetting to the carbs? Just curious since im looking for a slip on since i have a stock muffler on it.. Anyone have a nice slip on for sale. Thanks

if you're not changing the airfilter, i would not rejet with just a slipon.

Typically with just a slip-on, there is no need to rejet BUT if you want to reap the benefits of having a better flowing pipe, rejetting is the ticket to reaching these benefits. If you have the chance, take a flashlight and try shining it on both ends of the stock can. Chances are you will not see any light from both sides. But any slip-on is usually a straight through design.

I was told by guys who raced them back when they were new, that the bike ran better with the stock can, because when I bought mine, it had an F1 can on it.
