You should be able to go to your local shop and have them order you a repair manual. That is how I got mine, and my local shop is primarily a Harley dealership, but also sells Yamaha, and Suzuki. And the book I got was a Clymer. Hope this helps.

You could also search ebay, I've seen them there from time to time.

You can download a manual here http://www.stephygee.com/
It is not the for our bikes, don't waste your time with the download. It appears to be for a F2. If your looking for something specific, let me know. I will scan a copy of mine.

What makes you say it's for the F2? Did you look thru it? I saw the little M on the cover, but the copyright is dated 1990. I'm not really aware of any glaring differences between the F1 and F2 that I can look for in the book to find out, but I'd like to know.

i have looked over it a couple of times before. i realize the date says 1990, but it is definitely not for a us 87-90 F1 model cbr. the biggest visible difference is the air scoops in the tail sections which are not present in any F1 model. there are other specifics, but i would have to look again. i just know its not for the bike we think it is.

i am wondering if the manual on ebay that is $10 for a downloadable PDF is the actual manual or not. not sure if i want to be ripped off.

The 600FM is a UK bike which is equal to the F2 here in the states. The specs are somewhat different.
