Rearsets

Winter is coming... I know its a chezes Game of Thrones quote tho in this setting its true. Sins winter is right around the corner i am gathering the necessary things to make the old girl race worthy for the next season. Some parts i cant seem to find. In this instant i am talking abut Rearsets. It seams that i am not able to find some that where made for the cane, so my question is. What are the measurements and distance from bolt to bolt on the F4? I have been searching ebay for some time now and the Rearsets that are large in number are the ones for the F4. I am considering making some brackets and drilling holes in them to mount the original ones tho i prefer something that is purpose made for the task. Its a real pain sins i cant seem to get in sync with the bike, all do to the fact that my lower body position is not comfortable and getting knee lock on the tank is always an issue. Tanks in advance.

You need to make a thread in the F4 section asking the distance between the bolt holes. I'd just move the thread there, but it'd need a lot of tweaking. Not too many F4 owners come to this subsection.

Make a thread there and ask, then post your findings here to help others in the future.

Don't know the distance but have looked at doing this mod and even if you have to make brackets for them you should be able to get them to work because they have a ton of adjustment once you get them on the bike.

I have been doing some digging on this. Pro-tek made rearsets for the F1. Part number was PRS-100. Not the same # as the rearsets they made for F2/F3/F4/F4i

HOWEVER - PRS-100 also fit the 95-97 ZX-6R and 91-03 ZX-7R.

Hey, look what I found!

Note that these are not adjustable, simply "1 inch back, 1 inch up".

However Danmoto make very adjustable rear sets that are spec'd to fit 95-00 ZX-7R. Maybe they would work?
