I swaped mine out about two months ago. It made a small but noticeable difference. I would recommend it to any one with an older CBR.

I went up three teeth in the rear and it increased my RPM's about 500 or so. I would have liked to seen a more significant change so I can recommend 4-5 teeth. I had mine custom made in CA. I can get you the information if you wish. They did an awesome job. I also put a 520 chain conversion on mine too which help lighten the sprung weight issue.

why in the hell would it **** up your speedo????? 87 Hurricane...hello! Speedo is on the front wheel not the tranny! The only thing it's going to do is affect the RPM's at speed which is exactly what you want it to do. Go down 2 up front and your looking at a 1000 rpm change minimum. You'll lose top end speed but you'll gain on the low end.
