i just stumbled on this fourm and ive been reading some of the threads and you guys are really helpful, i have an 87 hurricane and its pretty tough finding stuff for it, but i found a website that makes aftermarket farings but i have to do the mods to make it fit, so im just wondering what all is involved? is it just drilling a few holes? thanks

 

I've never done it myself, but looking at the photos you see around the place, I think there'll be a lot of work to make them fit as well as the factory ones do. Making the mounting lugs and other bits and pieces and getting them lined and in the right place for gluing isn't easy (I know because I've smashed some off my fairings). I'd tend to find some 2nd hand fairings that have the lugs and holes in the right place and repair them.

Anyone else got any opinions?
