pilot jet question

Ok, I've got a quick question for someone who knows this one. are the jets in our Keihins a series 21 or 22 pilot jet? I'm about to order a set of 4 new ones and I want to know for sure.

also, has anyone tried running a #38 pilot in these bikes? I'm thinking about it to help with the cold weather here, since I know my bike doesnt run all that well and feels slightly lacking in power.

Oh and to remove the two jets that are damaged, would it be possible to braze a little nut onto the top of the jets and remove them that way? assuming I THOROUGHLY dried the carburetors out first to prevent any gasoline fires. I know this is a bit of an unusual idea, but I'm just thinking it might be a bit better of an idea than risking ruining my only set of carburetors.

I would definately appreciate input on this one.
