Saw this bike for sale locally, and it looks like it is in great shape: 1987 Honda CBR600 F1 Hurricane on Kijiji. The post reads in part:

While I know there is usually more money to be made by parting a bike out and I don’t question the seller’s right to do so, it seems like such a shame to do that to a nice example.

when I bought my project bike, the seller said he had lots of offers from people wanting to part it out, but that he wanted to sell it to someone who would try to get it running.

I can't say that I've ever seen anyone who wouldn't sell the whole thing. Usually that's what's desired. But to each their own.

 

So sad to see perfectly working bikes broken up and parted out!!!
