Default n00b Intro

Hey everyone, new to the forum & wanted to pop off a quick hello! Picked up an 89 Hurricane that's headed to being a streetfighter and an '87 that, hopefully will be a rebuild/restore. Both bikes are in various states of repair. I know the streetfighter runs & I've managed to get it around the block a couple times, but it needs work to be street legal. The '87 I have yet to dive into. It was originally going to be a parts bike, but looks close enough to being complete that I might just be able to bring it back from whatever crash and garage jail the previous owner did to it. These are the biggest projects I've ever taken on mechanically so I'm definately looking forward to y'alls advice and recommendations.

I'm in Denver, CO I spend most of my days on a red ZX-6R, so if ya see me, say hi! Thanks all!

what year ninja? sounds like you have things sorted out pretty well, always have a bike to ride even when the project is in pieces

^^Well I commute on the Ninja so it's gotta pretty much always be running in my opinion! It's an '07 and I just pushed it past 19k. It'll hit 20k by the end of the year easily. The pair of semi-functioning Hurricanes are the fun projects. I actually got them just as much to learn how to work on bikes as I did to actually have running alternate bikes.

yeah, figured the ninja was the bike that always is up and running, the other ones can be apart and if you get mad you can walk away, no need for them to be hurried up and put together for the next day
