Your bikelooks exactly like my first Hurricane that I purchased back in 1990 with only 900 miles on it--absolutely awesome bike. I kept that bike for 4 years and regret having sold her...Thats a screaming deal for $1100 with only 20k miles..Congrats!

actually i miss read the odometer it actually has 14900 miles

Hey,

Congratulations on your new bike! Are you actually from Boston? I got my '89CBR600 from Chicago, but I'm from Boston too. Question for you-my bike is a California model and has a ton of emissions stuff on it. Could you get together with me so I can look at yours and figure out what I can take off of mine? Mine has 15K on it too, and is red white and blue.

you sjould get the Clymer manual for the bike and it will show yuo how everything is normally set up.

Nice find man, these bikes are fun! Mine has a few extras, but I am getting it painted soon, post up some pics when you get new paint on yours too. Congrats man, have fun out there and ride safe.

My first bike was a 88 Hurricane, the same paint scheme as yours and the dent was in the same place, mine had a cam chain tenisioner rattle when cold but other than that it ran like hell and would take apart FZR600s with ease. congrats on the purchase
