There are two Gsxr750s, Three hurricanes and an 08 cbr1000rr in the garage. The one in the avatar is a 97 GSXR750.

so where are the pics of all the other bikes anyways? is this the only hurricane you got new??

 

I bought the 87 hurricane, 97 Gsxr, 08 gsxr and 08 1000rr new. The two parts hurricanes were bought later.

 

so which is your favorite? are they all for you, or others in the family?? nice collection either way

 

Favorite? Thats a hard one. They all have their time and place. Currently I ride the 1000rr the most. I have been riding and restoring the Hurricane for years. The 08 GSXR750 is my wifes' new ride. The 97 is for sale...I have a real love-hate thing with it.

 

why the love hate?? like my friends 95 900ss Ducati, in that when it runs good he loves it, but something always seems to need to be done, and he has never been good at doing maint....

 

The love-hate relationship developed over 12 years of cold blooded starting, weak clutches, carb maintenance, and tempermental appetite for low/no ethenol fuel... The love part of it was the raw edge of its power delivery, the light and responsive handling, and the seemingly endless inspiration its moments of bliss carving corners delivered.
Believe me when I say if it sells I will miss it.
