Default Mods for a hurricane, I have some, but need more.

Ok, Heres what I have so far. Hindle Pipe, Stage 2 Jets, K&N Filter + Drilled Air Box, 14T Sprocket (soon). Is there anything else performance wise for our bikes? Is there much benefit to be had from the FactoryIgnition Advancer?

depends. how much more do you want to spend?

the cylinders can be bored out and some head work.

better internals for front fork. aftermarket rear shock. steering damper.

im looking more for performance but what internals can i get for the front forks, my forks are pretty much done I think (would that be the springs or just out of fluid?), i hit a bump and it slams the front end.

if the front end is bottoming out it could be either springs or oil or both. you should not hit a bump and feel the front end slamming. that's an accident waiting to happen.

for internals you could get heavier springs and emulators. that would prevent the forks from bottoming out and provide smoother fork action.

performance mods at this point are down to port and polish, and cylinder boring.

unless you plan on riding in a straight line, you should have a suspension to match your engine performance.

Try a k+n filtercharger and braided steel brake lines.

The timing advance works great!! they also make a shift star kit along with a shift detent kit. I have all 3, they are relitively inexpensive and make a big difference.

What company did you get these from?
Has anyone ever put diffrent cams in? cylinder port and polish how much does it help? I just want to hang better with the newer 600's

factory pro on all three.

i do not know of any different cams that can be put into this engine.

port and polish will help some but if you are going to go through this much trouble "to hang" with newer 600s then i would just get the cylinders bored out.

you can hang with the newer 600's JUST FINE on the Hurricane, just upgrade your tires and suspension, and stay in the twisties, where bikes are supposed to be. straight line sucks and isnt what a sportbike is built to do.

what you need to do, is improve your riding skills more and you will then become a better rider. trackday trackday trackday. you'll find in the twisties then that you'll be able to hang with ANYTHING, from the 250's to the 1000's.

Track day is not really a good option for me (nearest track is 4 hours away) But I agree more seat time would not hurt.
