Low battery voltage
I'm home, but I'm working, so my replies are sporadic. You already checked each of the yellow wires through the stator on Ohms and got a reading of 0.03 Ohms. This does seem to be lower than spec, and would indicate almost a dead short.. I would expect a reading of at least 0.1 to 1.0. Can you verify them again? So long as there is no continuity from the green wires to any of the yellow ones also.
The issue with testing the R/R off the bike is that it's not under a load. No stress and no large amounts of current flowing through it. The last check I'd have you do is to see what voltage in AC are you getting out of the Stator. The R/R should be plugged in on both connectors. Start the bike, and measure across any 2 of the 3 yellow wires from the Stator with the meter on a 200v AC scale (anything above a 100 scale is fine). The reading will most likely jump around.
In keeping with that particular YouTube channel, they have one on the Stator as well. Certainly worth reviewing.

no reading when touching green wire to any yellow.
mon 2000ohms, I get 003. On 200ohms I get 0.06. It jumps around up to 1.0 but quickly settles to 0.06ohms.

LOL, no apology necessary. Just want to make sure we're on the same page. So that is outside of what he indicated.
So, the 6P connector that has 2 red and 2 green wires in it. Check from one of the green wires on the motorcycle side of the connector, not the R/R, to each of the Yellow wires going to the Stator with your meter on 2K ohms. You should get no reading.
Another question, is your battery currently connected?

I’ll check out the video and follow the steps if I can. You said I need everything plugged in again? I’m waiting on the connector blocks to be delivered so if it needs to be plugged in I’ll have to wait.
yeah I watched the video and realised it would be unplugged. It would be risky to do it without a connector. Not worth it, I’ll wait on the connector block.
I searched and searched for the originals. I even called Honda. No luck.
I ended up ordering from eBay. They look the same. Pins and pin inserts look the same. Should be all good. If not then I’ll have to use Anderson connectors or something.
