Default Little update on the bike

Little update..

Needs a lot of work still but I shaved the stock fender, painted it, still in the middle of hiding wires, strip the tank, bondo a few dents, paint that, move the oil cooler and blah blah. Here is what it looks like right now. Still a long way to go.

Probably asking to be hung by posting this picture but.

Nicely done. I think it looks pretty good. not sure how you're doing the lighting, but yeah.

I'm considering the same thing except I'm thinking of getting a front light and guage cluster from a 599 or Hornet. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the oil cooler though, how to you have that mounted to your triples? Any leak or kinking concerns? What I was going to is shorting the wires and running the fuse block next to the battery where the tool kit goes and keep the tail panels and cutting out the passenger seat and fiberglass the whole tail panel, cowl, and where the passenger seat used to be all together. I have to finish my CB750 first, just planning and thinking......

Looks good though, gives me a idea what my bike could look like

As for the light on there it's purely cosmetic right now. I'll do something else with that. Besides 135W would put a hefty strain on the electrical system. The oil cooler I'll make new lines for and mount it under or just infront of the radiator. Still a lot of work ahead and plenty of days before summer.

I still need to find state laws and figure out if I need a speedometer. Probably end up with a temp probe that turns on a light if the bike overheats, and one for oil pressure.

on the oil pressure, I'd find a way to integrate a small red LED light into the triples, or maybe create something like an 05+ GS500F gauge cluster using that tach and speedometer for your bike, along with the brackets for the turn indicators, oil light, neutral etc. make it real clean and neat looking.

LOL So I yanked the carbs and opened them up to clean them and well..... No wonder why it does not run very well. Guess I still cant complain since it was free. All clean and the jets are cleared up, set the float level, etc.
