Default just got bike running need some help

hey i just got my bike going and i was wondering if putting seafoam in the tank will up the idle speed?
how long does the bike take to warm up and where does the needle normally sit if it is parked in a grage with no wind.
my idle speed kinda jumps around dont know if thats normal
last thing is i am running rich and i know that dosnt help but i dont know how to get less fuel to go through i want to lean out the mixture first before i start to worry about all the other stuff. i need to know how much i may cost to lean out the mixture as well.

thanks

my best advice, forget the seafoam in the tank. If youre mechanically inclined I can email you a Haynes Manual on the bike and it will tell you how to clean and synchro the carbs. If youre not, I would say all you need is to take it to a shop and get the carbs cleaned and sync'd and that should fix your fuel problem, also new plugs wouldn't hurt either if you havent done that already.

as far as the needle, if i leave my bike running in the garage it will overheat in about 10-15 minutes, as in needle burried in H range. but thats because my fan doesnt work at the moment. Now if your fan is working properly, yourneedle should stay around half on the guage.

http://www.mediafire.com/?7nmnetvg0hj

Download that, its a haynes manual for the bike.

The miss could most definetly be carb related as each cylinder has its own carb, however a carb out of sync could cause what seems to be a miss where one is possibly letting in more or less fuel than the others.

i would say your charging system isnt working. should be in your manual how to solve that. stator most likely.
